Schoolreaders is a charity that recruits volunteers to listen to children read in primary schools. There is an urgent need for volunteers the local area. This service is provided for free to schools and the demand is high. See attached posters for further information.

Daventry District best in England on reduction of household waste
Daventry District Council (DDC) recorded the largest per household reduction in the collection of general waste in England following the introduction of its new recycling service.
