Neighbourhood Plan Regulation 16 Consultation

The final steps towards the publication of a Neighbourhood Plan for Overstone are coming ever closer, following the Parish Council's submission of the final draft plan to Daventry District Council, which has launched a public consultation on the Plan's documents.

In accordance with Regulation 16, residents and organisations are invited to comment on the submitted Neighbourhood Plan. The consultation period commenced on Monday 1st February 2021 and lasts until Monday 22nd March 2021.

The Overstone Neighbourhood Plan, devised by a steering group made up of members from the community and from Overstone Parish Council proposes a number of policies relating to what infrastructure and development is needed to sustain future housing growth in the Overstone area, taking into consideration local environment and sustainability, housing type, traffic and transport, local economy and services and facilities.

It is the responsibility of Daventry District Council to collect all comments and representations**, which will then be submitted to an independent examiner for inspection of the Plan documents before proceeding to referendum later this year.

Hard copies are also available upon request from Daventry District Council

**Comments and representations (as of Feb 1st 2021) should be made directly to Daventry District Council, by following the below link:
