Overstone PC, Land on the Church Farm Fields Proposal and Consultation

Overstone Parish Council has been made aware of 2 plots of land (approx. 26.5 acres in size) available for sale, located just to the North of Overstone Hall. The land in question forms part of the Church Farm fields and was recently subject to a 'failed' planning application by Barry Howard Homes to build 52 houses, as part of the 'Enabling Development' of Overstone Hall.

Speeding in the Village

SPEEDING THROUGH OUR VILLAGES

Speeding through our villages continues to be a problem and this article hopes to keep everyone informed on the initiatives that are taking place, many in conjunction with nearby Sywell Parish Council.

OPC has been busy gathering evidence. Implications of traffic increases and the new developments on traffic through Overstone have been monitored along with speeds.

A new support line has been launched to support the most vulnerable members of our community.
